Critical Incident Stress Management

Critical Incident Stress Management deals with crisis intervention and psychological first-aid in response to unusual events, i.e. accidents, deaths, violence, or natural disasters.   A critical incident is a highly stressful event causing strong emotional reactions with the potential to affect one’s normal functions or coping mechanisms.  We conduct a defusing and/or debriefing as an intervention to assist employees in identifying potentially harmful symptoms and coping strategies to reduce the aftermath of traumatic events.  Interventions can be individuals or small and large groups of people.

To schedule a debriefing, simply click on the button below. Please indicate in your email the Department of Law and Public Safety Division where you or your family member is employed and a telephone number where you can be contacted.
