"January is National Stalking Awareness Month" Nearly 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men are victims of stalking at least once in their life. Stalking creates fear for victims of the crime through harassing phone calls, obsessive text messages, notes left on cars, messages on social media platforms, gifts, watching someone, or showing up places. Distractibility, difficulty prioritizing tasks, and ineffective time management can lead to poor work performance or the inability to meet deadlines. "June is PTSD Awareness Month" All children may experience traumatic events affecting how they think and feel. Approximately 3-15% of girls and 1-6% of boys will develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Being aware of the symptoms will help you observe long-term behaviors and explore available treatment options from healthcare providers to support your children in recovery.
