New Jersey State Police Update Commercial Vehicle Travel Restriction

West Trenton, N.J. - Colonel Patrick J. Callahan has announced the commercial vehicle travel restriction will be lifted on all roadways with the exception of northbound traffic on interstate 287 including and between exits 41 (interstate 80 interchange) and 66 (New York State border) effective Sunday, January 20, at 7 a.m.

All vehicles previously listed in the restriction will be able to resume normal travel. Commercial vehicles entering the state should take note of possible speed restrictions on some roads.

We urge motorists to avoid unnecessary driving to allow plow crews to continue to clear the roadways.
